Vavasour wines are the pioneers of the Awatere Valley. We were the first to plant in what is now regarded as the premium grape growing region of Marlborough, New Zealand.
Waipara West uses grapes from its own low yielding vineyards, situated on sunny north facing terraces, to produce intense, quality red and white wines.
Wairau River Wines is one of the largest 100% estate grown family vineyards in Marlborough (situated at the top of the South Island in New Zealand). The flagship wine is Sauvignon Blanc, the range also includes Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and Pinot Noir Blush. Tastings and vineyard lunches are available at the unique mud brick cellar door on Rapaura Road.
